hey hey for everyone that doesn’t know this is based on SCP-3008 (http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-3008), basically “infinite IKEA”. Staff is docile during the day, but hostile at night, and they’re all randomly deformed in some way–hands too big, weirdly tall, giant legs, tiny head, etc. Groups of humans trapped in the SCP have created small fortresses out of furniture and will forage for food and supplies (that are somehow always replenished) during the day and will fight off the staff at night. it’s fucking wild
The sun is probably the closest thing we’ll ever have to a true Eldritch Abomination. Hear me out here-
Older than recorded history; was here longer than any of us and will be here long after we leave. Has a finite beginning and end but is still incomprehensibly ancient
Burns itself into your vision instantly and can blind you if you look for too long
Further prolonged exposure can cause cancerous growths
Non-humanoid shape floating through space; colossal flaming tentacles angrily lash out on occasion
Sort of just appeared one day and is now surrounded by the corpses of its stillborn children
People used to sacrifice other people to appease it
this eseal doesn’t even look like a mortal animal. it looks like some kind of horrific basalt obelisk from deep space that came to life through some dark ritual
not to mention the bleak and waterless SCP containment facility looking room it’s in. it looks like it’s being stored in an underground complex made of meter-thick reinforced concrete
