No fake, the federal police of Germany has confirmed the crime and is looking for witnesses. They also warn possible imitators that a crime like this may be punished with jail up to five years or a fine.

A young artist exhibits his work for the first time…

…and a well known art critic is in attendance.

The critic says to the young artist, “would you like my opinion of your work?”

“Yes,” says the artist.

“It’s worthless,” says the critic.

The artist replies, “I know, but tell me anyway.”

SCP Foundation Fanart (Part 1): Groups of Interest Logos for the upcoming Escape From Site-19 game. Go check it out! It features professional photography and artwork of countless SCPs and GOI from the grander SCP universe, some of which are sure to be in your favourites, and others that you have yet to discover…

AWCY?:  As it’s not a unified organisation with a defined goal, I used a style that is more of a messy and natural design than a clean and official logo. Bright neon colours represent creativity and imagination. Meanwhile, abstract splatters and smears implies the defiance of mainstream art styles.

Alexylva University: Used an academic-style logo, as seen with the shield and ribbon, symbols that traditionally appear in school insignia. Having considered the Greco-Roman society of the Alexylva world, I also added olive branches, a symbol used prominently in those cultures to denote victory. The eye represents seeing and thus enlightenment, a motif continued by the shining sun. However, the sun also symbolises power and superiority, implying the elitist slavery culture of the Alexylva universe without tainting the logo by directly representing the oppressed inferior classes.

Serpent’s Hand: They prides themselves on knowledge (Wanderer’s Library) and hence their logo features a serpent, which tempted Adam and Eve to eat the Fruit of Wisdom. This motif is continued in the hand, which is reaching out and offering an apple. The snake curled protectively around the hand also indicates the SH’s respectful, preservative treatment of anomalies.

Fifthism: FIFTH FIFTH FIFTH FIFTH FIFTH

Marshall, Carter and Dark: They are one of the most affluent and profit-driven organisations in the SCP universe, so I used a rich gold and purple colour scheme to communicate this. They would also want to maintain a presentable front for business, so I added ornate patterns for an elegant appearance. The open gate was the idea of the original author (thanks Randomini!), and it symbolises how MC&D acts as a gateway to the anomalous world for their clients.

Horizon Initiative: a gold dagger in front of a sunset,  representing Abraham, who almost killed his son with one in order to prove his loyalty to God. The setting sun refers to the organisation’s name, and the protruding lines that make up the rays can be interpreted to resemble a crown. Crown is called ‘Keter’ in Hebrew, which is the topmost sephirot of the Tree of Life in Kabbalah, the set of esoteric beliefs that explains the connection between inifinity and the finite mortal realm (God’s creation).

Church of the Broken GodAn assembly of parts from all three sects. Maxwellism is represented by a silicon ring of short, outward-reaching lines, implying the digital connectivity that Maxwellists pursue in order to repair god. The Clockwork Orthodoxy is embodied by a bronze cog at the center, like the Orthodoxy members’ belief of bringing themselves closer to god by modifying their bodies internally. The Broken Church is a hammer and factory that slashes through the entire composition, black as aged brass to imply that they were the oldest sect, and that they carry the ancient mission to reassemble god by bring together his shattered parts.

A huge thanks to everyone who gave input!

You might know everything I’m going to do, but that’s not going to help you, since I know everything you’re going to do! Strange, isn’t it?

Apparently you were supposed to find these chips in the board games section of Target and buy them to get a URL. Somehow this is way weirder to me than if they were just knock off Pringles.
