i think it’s finally about time for nintendo to add a pokemon who evolves two times and each time its stats get significantly shittier than before across the board. a pokemon that starts out bad and goes above and beyond to become worse than you could ever imagine
the shinji ikari of pokemon, it starts looking weak but promising, evoking images of “late bloomer” species like magikarp or feebas or larvesta, you give it the benefit of the doubt and let it leech off your team’s exploits from the bench, finally evolving for a second time at level 67, weeks after the rest of your team has fully grown, only to realize that it’s become a grotesque looking self piteous complete and total fuck up, an irredeemable waste of time and experience. this pokemon is completely worthless and you regret ever capturing it
