What was your inspiration behind making your gear ponies? Which one if at all, do you relate to more?

Ah the memories - w-

Hang on, lemme break this, it’s kinda longwinded.

It all started back in the year of 2 thousands and 1 ten, the president was Barack Obama and the national pasttime was lying-perfectly-still-over various-objects-in-a-manner-reminiscent-of-wooden-boards.

Back then I was but a wee little boy with a not so promising future in programming. What a loser.
Until one day, a friend started playing pony episodes on her phone. Naturally, I felt compelled to do what any rational guy would in that situation and promptly screamed “OMG YOU LIKE PONIES THAT’S SO COOL WHO’S YOUR FAVORITE HAVE YOU WATCHED THE ONE WHERE PINKEI BLAHBLAHBALH”

Turns out she’s artsy and does fanart of the silly donkeys, and before you know it has me doing the arts as well. And of course, what is a man who draws horses without a proper representative character in a world full of pastel equines? A joke, that’s what he is.

So I grabbed one of my OCs from a story idea I had been working on since my highschool years and pony’d the crap out of the male one to be my ponysona. And bam, Bro Gearholder was born. And since every character needs a rule63 ((because fuc you that’s why tumut)) I decided to give the guy a cister: Fem Gearholder, who is actually his female self ((I never worked out the logistics of that tho, they just happened. Sorry “orz))
