Because humans are lazy, entitled jerks is why! As I always say, if you can’t handle and care for an animal 110% in their natural state YOU DON’T DESERVE TO OWN THEM.
I never liked cats. And never understood why when we first discovered these bladed beasts with everlasting sharpness, our first thought was “wow I really want one of those living in my house!”
