Once Tyranitar hits the field, it’s ability will cause a Sandstorm that will not only damage every non-Rock, -Ground and -Steel type, but also boosts Tyranitars defense (rock types defense goes up on a Sandstorm). THEN that beast MEGA EVOLVES! It grows stats on top it’s already on-par-with-legendary stats AND gains a new ability. That ability may even BENEFIT from the everlasting Sandstorm Tyranitars regular ability set in motion.
