The same could be said of any of the main canon ponies really.

But why do you want to monopolize tumblr anyways? Isn’t it better when we have you know, VARIETY!?

I hate it when people go with that kind of thinking, “NO, THERE’S ONLY JITTERS DOCTOR!“ personally, thank GOD there’s not only Jitters doctor, because otherwise we wouldn’t have the amazing art of Clockwise, TO GIVE A LITTLE EXAMPLE. “NO, THERE’S ONLY WIGGLES SOMBRA!” I’ll admit, there’s very few good Sombra blogs, and Wiggles’s is the pioneer by excelence, but why give shit to people who want to develop the character in a different direction? Why not you know, ENCOURAGE THEM instead? There’s like two good blogs for gods sake, let others have a chance!

Same with Luna blogs, or Celestia blogs, it’s not just X artist you know? “NO, JJ IS GOD ARTIST" Be a little critical, no, he’s not. And if we only had those specific blogs, then what about people who want something else, or expect something else? Variety is good damnit!

Hell personally, I’ve gotten people telling me: “You’ll never get the same emotional reaction as Motherly Scootaloo". WELL GEE, THANK YOU, THAT IS SUCH A NICE MESSAGE TO SEND ME! Our stories aren’t even CLOSE to be in the same line, BUT HEY ITS SO NICE THAT YOU ARE DOWNPLAYING MINE WITHOUT KNOWING, THANK YOU.

People seem to think that whoever made the first blog about a canon character they claimed it, which is not what they think -at all-. It’s not called canon character for nothing. You can make it original by developing it in a total new direction, but other than that, that character is still in the “public domain" so to speak.

So if someone wants to start a Rainbow Dash blog, I say let them, let them develop that character in the way they chose, if you like it awesome! You can encourage them to continue. If you don’t? Well, too bad, but you don’t need to disencourage them, because YOU ALREADY HAVE PLENTY OF OTHER BLOGS TO CHOOSE FROM.

tl;dr, having choices is awesome, stop trying to stop people from making X character blog, you are only hurting yourself.

You know; The OP is right. There are way too many RD blogs out there as it is… But I know the solution to this one…
