Eg: If your PIN is 1234, you punch 4321.

The moment you punch in the reverse, the money will come out, but will be stuck into the machine half way out and it will alert the police without the notice of the thief.

That’s actually really interesting! I wonder if this is something international. Oh, I’m sort of tempted to try it. My PIN is easy to accidentally punch in backwards anyway.

I’ve seen that in the past and remembered it as a hoax.

So I checked and this is still a hoax, though it might become real in the future.
