Refer to GMing as “topping” and being a player as “bottoming”.

Insist that this is how you’ve always referred to it- the GM is looking at the story from a top level, and the players are looking at it from a bottom level. That’s what you say.

If anyone points out an alternate meaning, wave your hand dismissively. Those people are wrong. Keep using your words.
