You are all the employees of the same mysterious figure, who you have just discovered was conning you all. 

You awaken, dazed, on the back of a wagon. Beside you is a thief, a revolutionary local lord, and one of his guardsmen. Your party is bound and the guard explains that they were on their way to the chopping block, and picked you up along the way for illegally crossing the border

You arrive at the city’s station, while going over a large map of the city for directions, along with 4 other strangers, you are approached by a travel inspector and 2 of their assistants. The three distract you while 3 others snatch your luggage.
