Question:
Can somebody source me something good about that “old Japanese myth” about twins being lovers reborn after double suicide? I can’t find anything good for shit and I don’t trust 1) one Tumblr post and/or anime meme and 2) one unsourced line from Wikipedia.
Its on one variation of the chinese qixi and japanese tanabata story, about Orihime and Hikoboshi not being able to meet one year so they do something to meet up anyway that enrages her father and he gets them executed, then they swear to never get away from each other and are reborn as twins from then on.. I cant find a source myself atm but you can go look it up maybe :T
