So. If you know me on a personal level at all, you’ll be aware that…in the past few weeks, things have kind of come crashing down around me. Previously, I worked as a delivery driver for Pizza Hut. But because that wasn’t really enough money to live on, I began the process of finding a new job. And I did! I put in my two weeks at Pizza Hut and was lined up to start my orientation to become a substitute teacher.

And then my car died. Luckily I have a family friend who helped on most of the repairs and has only asked I pay him back when I’m able, so that’s not something I have to worry about at the moment. But the problem is that no matter what he fixed or replaced on that motor, it never seemed to solve the whole problem. Because of this, I was unable to complete my last two weeks at Pizza Hut. I can’t deliver if I don’t have a car.

My orientation for the new job was supposed to be today, but as I was on my way, the car overheated again. Still not fixed. And I had to reschedule.

I’ve spent the last few weeks coasting on the money I had leftover from my last paycheck, but as you can imagine, I’m all out. And until I start my new job, I have absolutely no income. I had been planning on re-opening commissions again soon as soon as I cleared my backlog, but unfortunately this can’t wait. I need money now.

I spent my last $80 on a money order for orientation–the new job requires me to pay for my own background check and fingerprints. That was all the money I had left, and I hoped I could make it until I started work again. But with no mode of transportation now, I have no idea when I’ll be able to work again. And my bills are coming due.

Please, if you can spare anything at all, I’m begging you to do so. Just a handful of donations should be enough to get me through until I officially open commissions again, or until I can go back to a full-time job.
