Rude Ranger

Currently we are stuck on an island and are trying desperately to get off. Or current best plan is to tie a note to a seagull and have it try to find a ship for us. Our paladin catches a fish and gives it to the ranger to lure in a bird.

Ranger, holding the fish, ooc: Okay I want to cast speak with animals and bribe the seagulls over with this fish.

DM: ….alright. You cast the spell and immediately are met with the sounds of a fish suffocating and dying.

Ranger: (points at fish) Shh, you be quiet.

((Also: the plan didn’t work and now we have a small flock of seagulls following us around as the healer feeds them dog food. Please save us))
