Its still so weird to me that people don’t know about Japan’s Christmas Kfc thing
Please explain
In the last few decades it’s become a tradition to eat Kfc on Christmas in Japan (and Christmas cakes, but thats another story.)
When Kfc opened there they tried a marketing campaign during the holiday season and it worked ridiculously well, leading the concept of Christmas fried chicken to actually ingrain itself in the country’s culture.
They even sell special Christmas packages that you have to order weeks out in advance:
