is it just west coasters who try to summon demons at summer camp, or is it because i kept getting stuck at bible camps that nobody ever did this shit

NOOOOOO. I worked at a camp and we were divided into patrols of like six people for time off right? Well, one night I was hanging out in the staff cottage, which is on the edge of this lake and in the woods. I was doing my thing watching Tangled, no clue what the others were up to and BAM. These mother fuckers bring in. An. Effing. Ouija Board.

Six teenage girls. In a cabin. In the pitch dark woods. In the middle of true nowhere.

I was out of there so fucking fast.

My campers attempted to sacrifice me to various demons a few times. They also worshipped a zucchini. Another counselor started a cult of Cthulhu last year. Hailing me as a demon god became a camp-wide meme.

Summer camp brings out the weirdest from people.
