How Much Sleep is Star Getting?

Okay, so this is going to sound really nitpicky, but if I don’t say this out loud, it’s going to bug me for the rest of Season 2.

Bon Bon’s séance happened at midnight. 

When “Raid the Castle” started, it was broad daylight, and it’s heavily implied that Star has been packing for said raid ever since the previous episode, since she wants to leave ASAP.

And when we cut to Star explaining what we already know to her parents, so that means the trip to Mewni and the explanation combined must have taken six hours minimum. And then-

Star goes and tries to write down EVERY SPELL SHE’S EVER LEARNED, That’s two nights of sleep wasted for a fourteen year old girl who’s not even allowed to eat sugar, let alone caffeine. Stop burning the candle at both ends, your majesty. That book’s not going to be written in one night.

Centaurian time, standard 37-hour day.

Give it a few months, you get used to it… or have a psychotic episode.
