Three entire days, huh?

pokemon-i-choose-you

TECHNICALLY you used your Pokemon’s help. Now get off you’re Pokemon and swiiimmmmm xD

darkdiscipleofnyx

But that begs the question. If it takes a pro swimmer three days. How fast is your Pokemon going?

pokemon-i-choose-you

@lishadra :OOOOOOO

dimensions-of-darkness

The fastest human recorded reached a speed of 5.05 mph. If we multiply this by the number of hours in three days, we’ll get the distance that the fastest human would have to travel at top speed to span three days, which is 363.6 miles. This is, of course, assuming that the swimmer never stops or slows down, which would be physically impossible, but let’s go with it.
The video is 30 SECONDS long. Convert this into hours and divide the distance we just derived by that number and we get a whopping 43,632 mph. The speed of sound at sea level is about 767.269 mph, meaning that this fucking Pokémon is swimming at just under Mach 57.
The trainer is dead.

JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SERIOUS???

latiasallegiance

but how fast would it be if a sharpedo was used

lishadra

I think someone else went into that and said it was nearly escape velocity.

i-cant-name-me

I mean to be fair, those swimmers they passed going back and forth aren’t swimming much slower than the trainer. It’s much safer to assume this route description is VASTLY exaggerated.

Swimmers don’t have repels.
