I like this little moment. Because it shows that Amethyst understands Peridot. She knows at this point that Peridot is simply bitter and irritable in nature, and not to hold it against her. She asks a question, Peridot responds with a bitter remark, and Amethyst simply pauses and tries again.

My main point is, this wouldn’t have happened before Too Far.
