Alright, here’s a few things that could be added to the trading system in pokemon -

1. Yes and no buttons

2. The ability to set one pokemon as a request (so like in your pokedex you can tick a box to say which number you want)

3. A button for like ‘do you have something similar’

4. ‘What do you want for that’

5. The ability to chat, with a strict, strict filter probably based on like a whitelist so only pokemon names and a few widely translated words

Once upon a time I used my Unown box to communicate during a negotiation trade. Just used a poké nicknamed “Please wait”, then went at it with the lettermons, arranging the box order, keepin it simple with messages like:

G O T _ S H
E L M E T ?

Then a pokemon nicknamed TRADE FOR, then a Karrablast - .-
