IS WHY SANS’S FONT DRAMATICALLY CHANGES WHEN HE FALLS ASLEEP

HE NORMALLY SPEAKS IN COMIC SANS, RIGHT? YEAH. HE DOES.

BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN HE’S SLEEPING, AND HIS FONT IS LIKE THIS ALMOST TIMES NEW ROMAN 

THIS IS ONE LETTER. ONLY ONE LETTER. IT WOULD BE JUST AS EASIER, JUST AS SIMPLE TO MAKE THOSE Z’S IN COMIC SANS. BUT THEY DIDN’T. THAT MEANS IT WAS PUT THERE ON PURPOSE.

YOU CAN’T VERY EASILY LIE TO SOMEONE IF YOU’RE ASLEEP, NOW, CAN YOU? YOU CAN’T TRULY HIDE ANYTHING IF YOU DON’T HAVE THE CONSCIOUSNESS TO LIE TO THEM. THAT FONT AIN’T FAKE.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT ONE OF THE MOST BASIC TERMS IN TYPOGRAPHY IS?? SERIF AND SANS SERIF. MEANING, SERIF HAS FUCKING DECORATIVE LITTLE LINES THAT EXTEND OFF THE EDGES OF THE LETTERS, AND SANS SERIF DOESN’T.

Actually, that font is Aster.

It’s held by theorists that Sans inherited some power when his brother, WD Gaster fell into the core. Hense why, as I’m to understand, those skeletal dog heads are called Gaster Blasters. Either that, or I’m misreading some details.

Think about that for a moment. WD is Wingdings. But Gaster isn’t a font.

Aster, however, is.

Also Aster Flowers are composed of a lot (40-80) of smaller flowers, thats why Sunflowers have so many seeds. 

Not only in the center of the flower but the petals are flowers as well! (at least my environmental science professor told me that)

I was actually going to make a post later about Gaster and Aster Flowers but i’m glad someone made the connection too!
