There’s actually a Rex toy on one of the shelves in WALL-E’s truck…

It raises the question as to why they bother to not move when no humans will see them, and until a better explanation is available I will go with “Much like Monster technology, they feed off human emotions. Thus, the life of toys expires in the absence of human children to nourish them.”
