Fun fact, in our language, apart from Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and the Alphabet, there’s another song that uses the same melody, called “Altijd is kortjakje ziek,” which is about a girl who is always sick except on sundays, which is when she goes to church.

Some people say the actual meaning of the song was that she was a prostitute. Her “being sick” actually meant she was home, in bed with men. So you know. That’s fun.
