City sculptor Alex Gardega — seething over the “Fearless Girl” statue being placed across from Wall Street’s “Charging Bull” — has decided to retaliate with a work of his own.
Gardega created a statue of a small dog, titled “Pissing Pug,” and
his sloppily crafted pooch takes direct aim at “Fearless Girl” — or, at
least, at her left leg.
“This is corporate nonsense,” Gardega told The Post of “Fearless
Girl,” saying it was put opposite artist Arturo Di Modica’s famed bull
as a publicity stunt by a Boston-based financial firm.
“It has nothing to do with feminism, and it is disrespect to the artist that made the bull,” he said. “That bull had integrity.”
The Upper West Side artist sniffed that he even made his dog particularly poorly just to stick it to “Fearless Girl” even more.
“I decided to build this dog and make it crappy to downgrade the statue, exactly how the girl is a downgrade on the bull,” said Gardega.
Some people appreciated his artistic statement — once he explained it. “I respect his opinion . . . and that’s really cool,” said tourist Pam Guadarrama, 24, visiting from California.

Di Modica is suing State Street Global Advisors, the mutual fund
company that placed “Fearless Girl” opposite his work, for trademark and
copyright infringement.
How can an artist be so petty and full of himself like wtf?

Fucking bless this! Seriously it’s seen as a VERY rude thing to mess with someone elses artwork. Whether it be vandalism, taking it without the artist’s consent, or changing it’s meaning like “Fearless Girl” did to “Charging Bull.”
“Charging Bull” basically symbolizes the resilience of the American people. How they won’t let things hold them back from obtaining their goals and how it won’t let anything stop them now. “Fearless Girl” was created by artist Kristen Visbal and was funded by State Street Global. State Street’s funded the project to pressure companies to add more women to their boards. That’s all she stands for. With her there she completly chances “Charging Bull’s” meaning. “Charging Bull” went from being a symbol for the people to representing the “patriarchy.”
Arturo Di Modica who created “Charging Bull” is pissed and with good reason. Somebody else had meaning of diction to his pre-existing artwork without his consent. If you want to create something then that’s fibe but DO NOT mess with someone else’s pre-existing artwork.
Apparently McDonald’s also said they’re getting killed by millenials and one of their CEO’s said it’s because millenials don’t have “brand loyalty” and are instead “promiscuous”
