So my friend Dan, @extradan, is competing in an elevator pitch contest, sponsored by Orbit, some a gum company. He intends to use the prize money (over 7000 dollars’ worth of shekels) to fund his emigrating to the United States from Israel, to live with his fiancée.
Dan has been a close friend for many years and moving to America has always been a dream of his, so I wanted to help by promoting his submission.
The contest is a simple vote-based thing, and as far as I know anyone can vote, so if you want to help him out, here’s what you do:
The idea that a superintelligent AI will someday overthrow humans has become so popular that when an AI finally appears and wages war on Earth, over half of humanity immediately defects to the AI out of fear. Problem is, the AI turns out to be an absolute idiot.
