I’m not goblin myself but this feels like peak goblin to me…think of all the things you can fit in this baby…think of the ease of gathering…the power…

Oh the sheer amount of disgust and betrayal that overcomes me when a video titled “Series’ Lore” does not at all touch upon the in-universe lore but rather the entirety of its production and behind the scenes trivia.

Some of y'all take “do stuff irl, it’ll improve your health” as ableist because you’ve been stuck in a pattern of self destruction so long that you consider your mental illness to be you, and you see anyone attempting to help you with mental illness as someone attacking you. It’s not healthy, go to class, grow some plants, go to therapy, get a hobby and brush your teeth. It will help, I swear.

image

literally just,, dress how you want, play cards, smile at a boy across the room during class. Live, heal, grow. Increase the joy you get out of life. This isn’t a mean spirited post I’m genuinely sad how many people, especially kids have fell into this way of thinking. Do stuff, it’s healthy and normal.

literally the things I listed aren’t the only things you can do. You could literally just sit and think about birds or throw pebbles at a larger pebble. I usually don’t have the mental or physical energy to do most of these things most of the time. Noone is to blame for their mental illness, but if you want things to improve you can’t just stop doing stuff. Last year I was literally unable to move because of my mental health, my mental illness and trauma was so dehabilitating I literally couldn’t do anything, I stopped brushing my teeth or showering, I stopped talking, I would let viruses and diseases go untreated because I didn’t have energy to go to the doctors. Then one day I bought a dog sweater, just because I liked it. I did some stuff. A year later and I’ve come so far. I shower, I brush my teeth at least once every two days. I went to another persons house for the first time in eighteen months. Do stuff, it helps. Alot of people, including me, will never be “cured” of their mental or physical illness, but we can at least try to make a difference in our own lives.

Tldr: this post can’t be condensed into a couple words, read it if you wanna, or scroll on, idc
