I’m the dm, my group consisted of a dragonborn paladin, two sorcerers a Druid and a ranger.
The group have been fighting undead and the paladin died to a wisp sucking her soul out.
Sorcerer1: I’m gonna take this unidentifed potion and pour it in her mouth.
Me: nothing happens
Sorcerer2: I’ll use this other unidentified potion too!
Me: still nothing happens.
Ranger: what if I use this third potion and pour that in too?
Me: nothing is going to happen from you pouring all of those potions into her mouth, she is dead!
Sorcerer1: well I’m just gonna scoop that mix out of her mouth and put it into one of the now empty potion vials we have.
They now have a mixed potion of flying, water breathing and hill giant strength, I can’t wait to see what happens when one of them drinks it
