Spider is a current research and development project which began in August ‘10. The 5m high inflatable spider is a fully articulated puppet controlled by a single puppeteer. The spider’s 8 legs each have 4 separate articulations allowing the spider to curl into a ball, walk, leap and attack with a similar leg speed to a real spider.

When you go to a friend’s house to stay the night and get stuck with the scratchy blanket.
You know the one.
It’s made of wool.
It has satiny trim that tries to deceive you into thinking this will be a nice blanket experience.
But it’s not.
Every house has one.
It’s buried deep in the bowels of the linen closet, under some afghans and a comforter with the down coming out of it, but make no mistake.
The scratchy blanket is there.
And it waits.
Every time I sleep over at a friend’s house.
EVERY.TIME.
I for one don’t have wool blankets
The closest I got are made of flannel and they’re for me, so please sleep with me someone ; 3;
