This is Andrew Hussie.
On the 9th of January, 2015, he was tragically abandoned by his longtime love and best OC, Vriska Serket. This cruel and harsh mistress frolicked away to be with her new punk girl lover, leaving Hussie lying in the dust behind a boulder at the foot of a horse mountain.
Hussie is no stranger to hardship. Almost three years ago, he was murdered by one of his own characters with a massive golden assault rifle. Hussie managed to get himself back on his feet that time, but now he worries he won’t be able to do the same again. He has lost everything dear to him - his magic golden ring, his troll cosplay, even his control over the coherence of the narrative.

It took me several seconds to realize the first pic was concept art and not some altered version of the movie still. Holy crap.
What’s incredible about this is that when Gutierrez first made the announcement for the movie’s production, he said he was “tired of animated movies looking completely different from the concept art, and how the concepts were always more beautiful.“ and how he wanted to ”make an animated movie that looked exactly like the concept art”.
and he DID. And I have SO MUCH RESPECT FOR THAT. It’s literally jaw-dropping.

This is disgusting, and this is coming from someone who is a devoted Muslim. Yes, perhaps it was offensive, they had free speech, so they had the power to mock religions.
Remember, a Muslim was killed as well, to say they deserved it, insinuates that it was for the best and everything was justified, but hey, that ought to teach those pesky secular leftists who’s boss in this very secular society, right? Let’s cast fear into their heart and remind them that so-called “Muslims” will go around the place and kill people over a magazine, right? WRONG. This is what makes us look bad, to let terrorists rampage a city and let people know the horror of two jihadists inflict terror in your hearts.
Our scriptures specifically told us to ignore them, if they mock us, ignore them, say peace!

We are to collect ourselves and keep ourselves distant from these people. Innocent people died as a result over a caricature of our prophet, AND RIGHT NOW WE’RE SEEING THESE PEOPLE HAVING JEWISH PEOPLE AS HOSTAGES, and we’re gonna look over the death of 12 people because “lol they were Islamophobes”? I don’t support them drawing caricatures, though I’m neither offended, because I’ve lived with this and this is something you’ll always see no matter how much “extremists” go overboard with this, so I turn to the scripture, and whaddya know, the Lord spoke about this particular subject. So what better than just to ignore them? The prophet was mocked, insulted, spit at, oppressed, and stoned, yet he was reluctant in his message and replied to the oppressors with humility, then maybe we can show the same!
Consequently, we Muslims in the west get affected as a result, the wave of Islamophobia increases and our religion as a minority is further disenfranchised from society. Look at the type of reactions and pain that struck us just as soon as this happened.
