You know, as deeceeoh suggested, I could try and go for the full pokédex…

I have a game for every region: Leaf Green, Soul Silver, Alpha Sapphire, Diamond, White and Y… So I should be able to get most pokémon. And I could trade for the ones I can’t get due to version locks.

The real problem is legendaries and event pokémon. I have no idea where I’m gonna get pokémon like Celebi or Darkrai or Victini…

Wait, to get the Shiny Charm, do I need to catch or see all the pokémon?

You don’t need event a Pokemon for the Shiny Charm. As for the rest, you need to catch them, not just see them.

Hm… If I need to actually catch all of them, that’s gonna make this a way bigger task… Honestly, even with the ridiculously low chance of getting a shiny, it’s probably (or should I say hopefully) gonna take less time than catching all the pokemenz.

It took me about three days to complete the pokedex when I did it last year… so yeah, it might actually be faster if you just keep breeding. But completing it might be a good thing to casually complete (As in, just catch a few species whenever you have nothing else to do) after you get your shiny Mareep, in case you ever want to go for another shiny.

DC pls, Ellie ain’t got the patience to wait 2 days for a dragonscale for her seahorse, much less for 3 days of actively transferring and catching and evolving -_-
