Echoing stablemur’s comment, I’m curious as to what is going on in central west Australia too. I mean, at first I thought it was bushfires, but the majority of the highlighted area is arid sand desert, there’s nothing to burn, so unless this is some sort of heat imaging I have no idea why it’s lit up like that.
