okay but considering the reason why ganondorf went evil (i mean without getting into demises curse) im pretty sure that the BOTW zelda and link would have been 100% down for providing aid to the gerudo.
What I love about this is that you can see the DM thought process that goes through his head. The initial shock at the high number, the first little eye twitch as he runs the math in his head to see if that’s possible. Then him maintaining his shock as he goes on to the next person because he has no time to let this phase him, he’s the Dungeon Master and he has a god damn game to run.
People say playing D&D is an emotional rollercoaster, but being DM is like riding several rollercoasters all at the same time across parallel dimensions. You are simultaneously audience, arbitrator, improviser, referee, and narrator: I honestly think it’s the best damn workout your greymatter can possess short of being outright possessed.
Between Rick from Rick and Morty showing up in a Studio Killers video, the Powerpuff Girls officially becoming part of the Gorillaz universe and now this, it’s been a weird time for music this year
thats a shitty unofficial edit. the owner of the channel steals videos from other vocaloid youtubers, most of it’s footage from the project diva video games uploaded and subtitled originally by googoo888 and the channel owner never credits the song producers, unlike all the official hatsune miku media outlets (example: “song title by producer-p feat. hatsune miku). MikuHatsuneVEVO is an unauthorized account that has no legal connection to vocaloid or CRYPTON future media. the official hatsune miku youtube account is HatsuneMiku .
Not everything a DM tries works out as intended. Sometimes a story arc falls flat, or a little extra description causes the party to halt for a few hours to fiddle with a rock…. it happens.
I was in a Lovecraftian GURPS campaign set in UK in the 1980s that ground to a halt for a solid hour because one of the players was adamant that we calculate the exact cost of plane tickets for our team.
Truly, rules lawyers are an eldritch abomination.
lifehack if the players are obsessed with something give it to them. Often a small interesting answer will make them stop faster than a hundred boring ones.
once my players rifled through some dead goblins’ clothes and i didnt expect that (dumb, i know) so i put a “very smooth pebble” in a pocket and the players were so interested in it they almost started a fight over it
