There's one meat dish I remember that's slow-cooked in some kind of dutch oven style setup(insert LizzyXGear joke here)? I dunno, it's buried underneath a bunch of hot coals and left to sit if I remember, and it's supposed to be really tender. Can't even find a crock-pot approximation of that anywhere I've been to, though.
