You know what? I’m alright.
I don’t drink anymore. I no longer take Ritalin. My insomnia is gone. My anger issues have disappeared almost completely.
I don’t have to worry about keeping the restaurant afloat anymore. The scholarship I received was bigger than I could have dreamed of, so I no longer have any financial issues. I can afford to eat. My classes, while they keep me busy, are interesting.
I’m alright. I’m good.

I’m so used to wearing a hoodie that whenever I’m not wearing one, I still unconsciously try to shove things in my hoodie pockets.
