If it’s mushrooms and mentions “ring” specifically, it makes me think of those mushroom ring things.
Dunno if I’m thrilled about that, the other Poison type sounds more interesting.
Still would have liked a Fire/Poison based on the concept of burning garbage, or something based on a rat king.
No this is a fairy ring:
They’re a single spore that spreads tubes in all directions and forms caps in a circular pattern. Folklore belief is that fairies danced within these things so the poke may be based on a fairy surrounded by mushrooms.
putuksstuff: I don't think a Rock/Poison type is gonna be that amazing. Not as long as it doesn't have Levitate. Sure, you can slap an Air Balloon on it, but you're missing out on the Eviolite. It'll be weak 2x to Psychic, Steel, Water and 4x to Ground. Of course this doesn't take Ability, Movepool and overall stats into consideration. Say it's got passable defenses, solid HP and access to Recover, that'd be a fantastic contender, but how likely is that?

And looking at the Solosis line also being based on microscopic life, Regenerator doesn’t seem that far fetched. Might play like Amoongus at the least, with some hints of Ferrothorn maybe probably idk.
