Anonymous: Choosing a grass starter seems like a mistake. Grass types are the first you really encounter of the three, water the second, and fire the third. I just figure, you get charmander, you get a step up on a bunch of those bug/grass trainers. You get a bulbasaur, and you got just another grass type. Grass types are dime a dozen, and it would make the most sense to get the fire starter, since that's the type you don't usually encounter early on in the game
