omegaresnovae: I know you're asking for types, but I want to see a Bigfoot mon and a Wendigo mon. ... Actually, you could maybe branch both from a single original mon, and have their evolution be some kind of environment-based evo. I'm thinking Ice/Fighting and Ice/Ghost.
Can I do them separate? Cuz I wanna see a branch evo for Duskull, with actual skulls. Maybe dedicate it to offense, as opposed to Dusclops and Dusknoir’s defensiveness.
omegaresnovae: Shoot. I don't the combos that are still unused. Uh, Fire/Steel?
You can send monotypes too >:Y
I’m thinking one artillery-based
It starts as a pure fire: An armless bipedal poké with a stubby tail it uses to brace itself when firing fireballs from it’s mouth. It has high Sp. Attack but also a new ability that always makes it take recoil damage.
Then when traded holding a Metal Coat It becomes clad in iron and gains Reckless or Rock Head, and can learn a new special fire move with recoil damage. Cuz come on I wanna see recoil on special moves >:Y
putuksstuff: How about you do this too? Poison/Fire, you're friendliest nightmare.
Ok first off:
Ok now, I have this concept of a quadruped creature with 4 burners on its back, kinda like cyndaquil’s, except it can release poison gas from them or ignite the gas to use fire moves.
gearholder: Ok then here's a fun fakémon game: I tell you a type or combination and you think up a thing from the real world that hasn't been pokéfied yet >:Y Ready? Grass/Poison!!
Alright, I’ve had this idea in my head for a while.
Garbodor evolution. Pretty much everyone who made a fake (mega) evolution for it put it in a trashcan and made it Poison/Steel. Sure, it’d be a unique typing, but not that interesting a concept.
My idea is based on the concept of compost. Rotten, decayed garbage being used as fertilizer.
So, my idea would be that Garbodor loses it’s legs and becomes more of a pile. It’s back splits open, a small ecosystem of gorgeous flowers growing on it. It’s facial expression shifts from the horror of it’s own existence to relief.
Here’s a quick doodle of what I’ve got in mind:
Poison/Grass. Gains the ability Regenerator. Loses most of it’s speed, but gains mixed defenses. Gains access to moves like Synthesis and Leech Seed.
