CRYPTID SPOTTING!
Dr. Toru Yano, a marine biologist, spotted a strange, black, tadpole-like creature in the shallows of Suruga Bay, on the Pacific coast of Honshu, Japan. The photo, while blurry, shows a clear, bright red eye at the front. The doctor claims it to have been approximately 20 meters (approx. 65 feet) in length, making it quite sizable. Some think it’s a hoax, but others claim it’s certainly not, with a few experts saying it’s an undiscovered species of whale, while others assume it’s something much more dastardly.
Shrimping in that area has been, as one elderly fisherman has said, much less fruitful since the sightings first started, as it seems to leave the waters murky, almost toxic, to many smaller creatures in the area. The Doctor mentioned above returned from this experience with a badly injured face, as it seemed to have been almost poisoned by the creature’s presence. His son, who had been accompanying him at the time, returned with similar conditions to his hand, and mentioned the same creature leaped out of the water and over him. The child claimed he had used a knife to cut the creature as it flew overhead, resulting in his injury. After this, the creature was not seen again.
A truly strange sighting, and one that seems to have some nasty implications with how we’re treating out waters for something seemingly so dangerous to have been dredged up!
