While I personally haven’t applied to any studios myself, I’ve had peers who upon applying to animation studios had asked if they could include mature works in their portfolio. Most of the time the hiring correspondent said to go for it, especially if it demonstrated relevant skills to the position.

Typically studios don’t mind if you do mature art at all. A lot of them do it themselves.
